As CFO of ColRich, Robert Mitchell oversees all aspects of accounting and tax in addition to leading the Company’s development platform (both for-sale and apartments). Since joining the Company in 2015, Robert leverages his big picture perspective, decision-making abilities and innovative spirit to help lead ColRich’s strategic planning initiatives. Robert’s prior experience includes nearly 20 years in a variety of finance and accounting positions for real estate investment and residential construction/development companies. Robert graduated cum laude from the University of California at Davis with a Bachelor of Science in Managerial Economics. He also holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of California at Irvine, is a CFA Charterholder and a member of the San Diego CFA Society. His balanced approach to problem solving carries over to his personal life where he strives to be a positive role model for his three children. “Decide what to be and go be it,” an Avett Brothers song lyric, is his motto in teaching his children how everyday actions shape who we are. In his free time, he enjoys traveling, hiking, soccer and spending time outdoors with his family.
